A Quiet Day Guided by the Words of Richard Rohr
“Faith does not need to push the river because faith is able to trust that there is a river. The river is flowing. We are in it.”
Richard Rohr
Join us for a day in the casual setting of the Farmhouse at St. Cyril’s Spiritual Center gleaning from themes in the writings of Franciscan Father Richard Rohr through presentations, sharing and silent prayer stations. Father Rohr speaks to an ecumenical audience in his writings on action & contemplation, social justice, compassion & mysticism.

Lois Landis Miller is a spiritual director and retreat leader trained through Kairos School of Spiritual Formation. She is a married mother and grandmother and has a B.S. in Elementary Education. She volunteers with NODA (No One Dies Alone) and local hospital chaplaincy and is involved in pastoral care and prayer ministries in her church. Her hobbies include bird-watching, photography, and gardening. Most of all, she delights in walking with others on their spiritual journeys.
LuAnn Sgrecci O’Connell is a spiritual director and retreat leader trained through Oasis Ministries as well as a homeschool co-op lit teacher and married mother with degrees in Public Policy Analysis and Economics. She draws and shares from various streams of Christian spirituality since facilitating learning has been a theme throughout her life.  LuAnn’s interests reflect God as Creative Artist and Teacher: reading, writing, creativity, nature and contemplative living. For fun she collects Nancy Drew mysteries and has created a Sherlock Holmes study evocation in her home.
